on Proposed Rezoning of One Emma Lane

A developer has petitioned the City to rezone a 7.4-acre parcel at One Emma Lane, adjoining the Blue Heron Nature Preserve. This rezoning request has generated a great deal of interest among North Buckhead residents. The NBCA Zoning Committee is scheduled to hear this request at its meeting on March 15 at 6:30 PM.
This is an important and complicated situation. It involves multiple issues including protecting the character of the neighborhood, the possibility of adding 4+ acres to Blue Heron Nature Preserve, tree protection, and other issues. NBCA has updated its Information Package in an attempt to provide an unbiased collection of relevant facts. This package provides background information and does not make the case for or against any course of action.
